Abstract

This article examines Ho Chi Minh’s philosophical approach to social security as a core component of his vision for the comprehensive development of both individuals and Vietnamese society. Ho Chi Minh’s thought on social security goes beyond political and ethical directives, encompassing profound philosophical arguments that reflect a dialectical perspective on the relationship between economic development and social justice, as well as between personal advancement and community responsibility. Building on this foundation, the paper investigates the current application of Ho Chi Minh’s thought on social security in the formulation and implementation of policies in Vietnam. In the context where sustainable development has become a central orientation, the article proposes several systematic solutions aimed at promoting the value of Ho Chi Minh’s ideology in constructing an inclusive, effective, and sustainability-aligned social security system.
