Abstract

This study is intended to find out how far the use of Learning Cycle  teaching model can increase motivation and achievement on economic mathematics  in the students of management department. This study applied Classroom Action Research, using the Cycle Learning Model. The result of study indicated that (1) Learning Cycle teaching model makes students have high motivation to study, (2) Learning Cycle teaching model makes students easier to understand a concept,  and (3)The students have better achievement when they are taught using Learning Cycle Teaching Model.
